I love that so many people in the world are looking to just this sort of thing! It amazes me the synchronicity among people who don't know each other and are so far apart.

I encourage you to check out the Lefkoe Method. It's the most simple and effective process I've tried (and believe me, I've tried most of 'em). And, the Lefkoes so believe in their work and so want it out in the world, they give it away!

[It's very hard not to sound like a cheerleader, I only just found you as I was searching 'self esteem beliefs'. I swear, I'm not making any money, nor am I trying to sell you anything.]

Good point, Karin. Using the word "may" makes it hard for your mind to say "no". After all....may means it may, and it may not. :)

Did you see the next post, "Your Mind Is Not Your Friend"?

Hi Nina,
I find that instead of affirming something which almost always results in...."yeah, right...and I'm a size 2 as well"
...the word "may" at the beginning of a statement is kind, gentle, and sits well with my inner sceptic.
"May I be kind to myself today" May I appreciate my goodness today.....etc etc. And, the use of the word "today" helps me from feeling that I have to keep saying this forever.

Love the blog!
